2017 AVC Elections

Every year in August, per our bylaws, we have an election for positions in the AVC.  This year is no different and the positions that are up for election are VP Finance (Treasurer) and VP Relations.  Currently, those positions are held by Matt Fox (Treasurer) and David Ress (VP Relations) and both Matt and David have decided not to run for re-election.  I wish to thank both of them for their effort in their respective positions and hope that they will continue to be an active member of the AVC.

Below will be a tentative timeline for the election as well as description for the positions.  If you feel you would like to run for either one of those positions, self-nomination is accepted and if you wish to nominate someone for either or both of the positions, seek their permission prior to nomination. Positions are a two year term with monthly teleconferences and meetings throughout each year.  Nominations can be sent to anyone on the AVC Executive Board or to our AVC email address:  sigep.nyx.avc@gmail.com
